GW Irish Bog Oak Ballpoint Pen

Irish Bog Oak is oak that has sat in peat bogs in Ireland for between 3,000-8,000 years! The low oxygen environment preserved the wood wile giving it this near-black appearance.

This wood has been fully stabilized (replacing the air in the wood fibers with an impregnated resin) and given a satin CA finish. It has been paired with this stunning gun metal chrome hardware. The click ballpoint pen includes a black Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 series ink cartridge, known for it's smooth, effortless ink flow.

The pen measures 5.5" long with the ink extended and weighs 1.2 ounces (36 grams). Ships in your choice of pen box or Rickshaw pen sleeve, please add a note during checkout with your preference.
