Introducing the GW Palladian fountain pen. The GW Palladian is handcrafted from some of the finest marble in the world, Colorado Yule, from the quarry in Marble, Colorado. The same source as the marble used to build the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lincoln Memorial.
The marble is beautifully paired with custom designed solid Sterling Silver hardware. The columns in the finials and centerband are meant to replicate the look of the Lincoln Memorial. The Memorial itself has Palladian style architectural features, which aided in the inspiration of the overall design of the pen.
The pen weighs approximately 65 grams when capped with the body weighing approximately 40 grams (weights will vary slightly due to natural variations in the stone and handcrafting process). The cap does not post, but the body is beautifully balanced fitting nicely in even a larger hand. The front section unscrews to allow the feed to accept either the included Schmidt twist converter or an international ink cartridge. Also included is one Electric DC Blue Private Reserve cartridge.
The GW Palladian is beautifully finished with a #6 rhodium plated 18k gold JoWo nib. The pen comes with a Fine point nib by default, but can also be ordered with a Medium if you prefer. When ordering please make a note during checkout, or feel free to contact me directly for any other information.
