GW Wormy Willow Fountain Pen in Toxic Slime Resin

The ‘Toxic Slime’ fountain pen isn’t really toxic of course, but that seemed the perfect way to describe this resin color! The pen started as a piece of wormy Willow tree that was stabilized. Stabilization removes the air from the wood and replaces it with a clear resin that is cured to harden. That was then cast in the toxic slime green and yellow resin. Because the wood is stabilized, the wood and the resin form a chemical bond helping secure it in place. 

The threads, section, and cap are made from the same matching resin. The cap and body have trim rings machined from solid brass, matching the gold plated JoWo #6 medium nib. The pen is cartridge/converter fill with a Schmidt K5 converter included.
