Buckeye Burl Hybrid Purple Resin Pen Blank

This fully stabilized piece of buckeye burl has been cast into a hybrid (part wood, part resin) pen blank. Stabilizing the wood not only makes for a more solid and strong piece of wood, it also allows the resin to form a chemical bond with the wood.
